Donations for Flood Relief

HAYGOOD PRESCHOOL·SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 20185 Reads

We all have seen the news on TV or Social Media and maybe even know someone affected by the flooding of Hurricane Florence. With so many people and pets displaced and suffering, you may be wondering how you can help. There is a great way for our preschool to make a difference! Through UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief), our preschool is collecting items to create Cleaning Kits. These items will be essential and will enable people to begin the overwhelming job of cleaning up after the flood. Below is a list of the items that go in each “Cleaning Kit”. There will be a box at the sign-in table where these items can be placed. “With a heart and helping hands a child can accomplish anything”, and help those in need. At the end of September, we will be bringing the supplies to the District Collection center.
